Happy New Year!

A very Happy New Year to everyone!

The final installment of the 2023 ‘NDAS Revisited’ series was posted yesterday. The bonus 13th installment is also ready, so in a few days I’ll start sending out codes to those of you who bagged all 12.

This last installment is another big one, containing an album’s worth of material. Sources from Nurse With Wound, At Jennie Ritchie and Pink Void all feature in the mix. The bonus 13th includes two irr. NDAS originals plus a different & slightly extended version of a the track ‘A Subsidence In Possibilities Precipitated By The Peroration Of A South-Facing Markhor’ (included on ‘Dark Drippings’ and now also the ‘Topography Of Lucid Confusion’ CD) that was built using Nurse With Wound live sources. It was good to revive all of these tracks after 10 years! It was a lot of work back then, and I think there’s some worthwhile stuff in there. It was certainly a fertile period of research & development, and led the way towards the whole monthly series concept.

My endless thanks to all of you who have been supporting these monthly series! It has made such an enormous difference during the past few years — I can’t imagine how difficult it would have been without it. A new series for 2024 is planned, and will be another narrative piece somewhat like ‘Vesicular Distributor’. I really enjoy doing the narrative pieces, and hope to pursue that idea in different formats.

As I did last year, I’ll be making a print available of the eie New Year card (pictured above, but the print will not include the border or the text) accompanied by another New Year album on CDR. The album will also be available digitally on Bandcamp. This should be ready in a week or so.

Also: I’ll be launching a Patreon account soon! I hope some of you will considering subscribing at whatever amount you can manage. A video outlining the particulars will be posted within a couple of weeks (or perhaps sooner). These things really do help so much in the inconsistent and uncertain financial life of an independent artist.

More thanks to you all, and all the best to everyone in 2024!
